Hyderabad–Sukkur M-6 Motorway

306 km, six-lane motorway — Sections 3, 4 & 5

Construction of the Hyderabad–Sukkur six-lane motorway, with HKH's Managing Director acting as Authorised Representative for the international lead contractors on three sections.

Overview

Construction of the Hyderabad–Sukkur 306 km, six-lane motorway. HKH provided consultancy for the formation of the joint venture between Xingtai Road & Bridge Construction Group and Progressive Technical Associate Private Limited. Captain Abdul Khaliq Khar, MD of HKH Pvt Ltd, acts as Authorised Representative in Pakistan for Xingtai Road & Bridge Construction Group.

Sections Delivered

  • Section 4 — Padidan (Noushero Feroz) to Ranipur, 60.90 km
  • Section 5 — Ranipur to Sukkur, 59.88 km

Signed Authority

Powers of attorney dated 26 January 2026 (Xingtai, Sections 4 & 5) and an authority letter dated 7 July 2026, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia and the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh (SAMA, Section 3), appointed Captain Abdul Khaliq Rabbani Khar to negotiate, sign and submit joint venture agreements and bids to the NHA on the respective partners' behalf.

Outcomes

Khuzdar–Kuchlak, N-25

Dualization of National Highway N-25, Sections III & IV

Dualization of two sections (nearly 139 km combined) of the Khuzdar–Kuchlak N-25 highway, converting congested single-lane roads into a modern four-lane dual carriageway.

Overview

Dualization of the Khuzdar–Kuchlak section of National Highway N-25 (total length 330.52 km), delivered through the ZIEC/PTA joint venture structured by HKH.

Section III

Km 102+000 to Km 171+900 — a 69.9 km package, contract value Rs 1,140.96 mn, expanding a highly congested, accident-prone route into a modern four-lane dual carriageway.

Section IV

Km 171+900 to Km 121+120 — a 69 km package, contract value Rs 12.8 bn, converting a single-lane corridor into a four-lane divided highway to alleviate traffic congestion, decrease accident rates, and build a key trade path linking Karachi, Quetta and Chaman.

Works

Asphalt laying, rock excavation, grading and deck reinforcement (Section III, May 2026); excavation at the Kalat section and compaction of the completed formation (Section IV, June 2026).

Awaran–Jhal Jhao Road

CPEC Central Alignment, South Balochistan

Rehabilitation and up-gradation of the 54.80 km Awaran–Jhal Jhao Road under the CPEC central alignment, a joint venture structured by HKH.

Overview

Rehabilitation and up-gradation of the 54.80 km long Awaran–Jhal Jhao Road — a critical infrastructure initiative under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) central alignment in South Balochistan, executed by the ZIEC-PTA joint venture. HKH (Pvt) Ltd provided consultancy service for the formation of the joint venture delivering this package.

N-5 Reconstruction — Ranipur to Rohri

Pakistan Resilient Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework Project, Phase IA

Reconstruction of a 70 km section of National Highway N-5 between Ranipur and Rohri, with HKH's Managing Director serving as Authorised Representative for the Riyadh-based lead contractor.

Overview

Reconstruction of National Highway N-5 under the Pakistan Resilient Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework Project — Phase IA (141 km), Section 2: Ranipur–Rohri Road. HKH provided consultancy for formation of the joint venture between SAMA Construction for Trading and Contracting (C.J.S. Co.) and Progressive Technical Associate Private Limited.
